Born February 20 1943 in Marlow OK she was an administrative assistant and First Baptist Church member in Tucumcari. Survived by husband Donald D Best of Tucumcari NM children David McKinney Michelle Farrow Tim Karen Olson Rick Ellen Best and five grandchildren. Dave L. Gerke age 73 died at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque on Friday December 13 2013. A celebration of life is set for December 23 2013 at Dunn Memorial Chapel at 11:00 AM. Born September 9 1940 in Merrill Wisconsin he led a varied life from rabbit farmer and newspaper deliverer to Alaska deputy housing director and painter. He battled diabetes and later health issues while pursuing family travel music and writing with multiple marriages and five children. He is survived by siblings daughters and their spouses and by Julia Calbert the love of his life. Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home Tucumcari NM.
