Tucumcari man to get extra jail credit in 2017 chase case
Justin French of Tucumcari was found by the New Mexico Court of Appeals to have deserved 293 additional days of pre sentencing jail time credit. The panel vacated his convictions for resisting, evading and obstructing an officer and remanded for resentencing. The chase spanned Logan to Tucumcari with speeds up to 110 mph in 2017 and involved multiple defendants.
