Mesalands Community College hosts an Allied Health open house for Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy tracks on August 1st from 4 30 to 6 30 p m in Building A Room A233. Attendees tour the Allied Health Laboratory meet faculty and staff learn compression only CPR and see vital signs demonstrations by former graduates. A back to school immunization clinic will be held August 9 and 12 at the Quay County Public Health Office in Tucumcari New Mexico. The no cost clinics run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and require a child shot record and insurance if available. The event is part of the Got Shots Protect Tots campaign hosted July 30 to August 13 for children 18 and younger with partners NMIC NMPCA and public health providers. For details call (575) 461-2610.
