Thelma Gwendolyn Gwen White 89 of Logan New Mexico died July 25 2023 at home. Funeral July 29 at First Baptist Logan with graveside service and lunch to follow. She was born August 16 1933 in Tucumcari to Robert and Thelma Trentham and survived by her husband Paul White four children and multiple stepchildren plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gwen loved Jesus family and life notes include her pilot license at fourteen and life around Quay and Chaves counties.

Mary Agnes Marquez a devoted Tucumcari matriarch passes
Mary Agnes Pinni Marquez died July 23 2023 at home surrounded by family with Jesus present. A memorial service is set for August 19 2023 at St Michael's Episcopal Church Tucumcari with Gay Wellborn officiating. Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park. She was born November 23 1946 in Belvidere Kansas to Leo and Frances Mares. She married Margarita Marquez on October 8 1966 and they raised three children in Tucumcari New Mexico. Mary worked at Cooper's Grocery and various cafes, was a homemaker, and an artist who sewed drew painted and styled hair. She served at St Michael's and on the Bishop's Committee. She is survived by her husband two daughters two sons eight grandchildren ten great grandchildren five siblings and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are with Muffley Funeral Home. Flowers may be purchased from Wild at Heart Floral.
