A Class 4 Winds luncheon at the Tucumcari Convention Center featured discussions on transmission lines and wind energy regulation. Speakers included Keith Sparks of Clean Line Energy and attorney Kelly de la Torre detailing U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service draft guidelines aimed at protecting eagles and other species during site selection and project monitoring. Public comments on the guidelines are open until May 19.
