Historic 1760 Church Address and War Dispatches Chronicle

The document records a 1760 Scottish Church address to the King with royal reply, followed by dispatches from Magdeburg Meissen and various theaters: troop movements eight thousand to fifteen thousand, statements on Gottingen Werra crossing, Landshut evacuation, and Allied reactions. It notes naval concerns, privateer threats, shipping losses and salvaged cargo, and late 18th century appointments and deaths across Britain.

Curious trades and promotions in 18th century notices

A long-sourced page item lists Ko the Curious in Brown selling Westmoreland and Yorkshire hams at sixpence to sevenpence per pound, Canterbury and Shrewsbury brawn, and salted chines. It then details a Dublin promotion with officer names and regiments, followed by verses addressed to Miss Bell and a Navy Office notice offering contracts for brazier wares and a printing business ad.
