Niven with Miss Marjorie Miller as bridesmaid and Harry Anderson as groomsman. A luncheon followed at a Waterloo tea room. The couple will reside in Milwaukee. The bride is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Miller of Waterloo. The groom is the son of Samuel Fleming of Bruce township. Relatives from the area attended.

First Ottawa Hotel Built by Dees in Early West Side

Bridge Contract Awarded for Cedar River Crossing
Monday afternoon bids for a new steel and concrete bridge over the Cedar river south of this city were opened by the board of supervisors. W. A. Burton of Waterloo secured the contract for 17,500 with 1,346 extra for piling. The 190 foot structure replaces the old wooden crossing and serves traffic over the Cedar river cut‑off, a long needed improvement for river residents.
