Oscar Purdy, an elderly and well known Spring Creek resident, died at his home after a period of ill health. He leaves a son Floyd Purdy and a wife. Funeral services are set for Friday at 2:04 PM at the Wesleyan Emmanuel church, with burial in the Spring Creek cemetery.
