Across the country political candidates intensify campaigns as the 1972 election opens to new voters. The 26th Amendment grants enfranchisement to 18 20 year olds, adding about 11 million first time voters and 14 million new 21 year olds.

The interior was destroyed and all clothing furniture bedding and staple food items are needed. Items may be brought to the church for daily pickup or delivery.
