The American Legion chose Kansas City Missouri as next year s convention city and set October 31 and November 1 2 for the annual ex servicemen gathering. Delegates backed the four fold adjusted compensation plan before Congress and urged rapid enactment. William A Ketcham new national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic was introduced to region delegates and Indiana s legion delegation led the welcome with a Hoosier yell.
