Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Bridenhager and daughter Grmel traveled to St. Louis to spend Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wright Madden.
The Daily Democrat reports an anonymous inquiry about prize money for naming the north city addition. It states a $5.00 award was given to Mrs. John Skeavington on South Main Street for the name Park View.
Princeton Advertising club members must send their lads for Bargain Sheet first sales day on Monday October 4 to McCormick Ad Service at 112 1-2 East Broad Way. All ads due by Wednesday. Nonmembers who wish to advertise should submit ads immediately. Publicity Committee.
A large crowd from Princeton plans to attend a Royal Scotch Highlanders band concert on Oakland City College campus Sunday at 2:00 PM led by director Roy D. Smith.
G A R veterans and their wives began arriving by automobile to Union Station for housing arrangements. The Housing Committee led by George Brewer will assign rooms starting at 7 am with Sidney Miller heading the reception group. The hospitality committee under Mrs Edna Paulson, aided by Boy Scouts, will escort guests to rooms.
Governor Cox of Ohio accused Senator Harding of a chameleon policy on the Japanese question and the league of nations during a California campaign stop in San Francisco. He labeled the GOP as led by reactionary figures and denounced the republican leadership and big business.

Mrs Kate Stormont aged 74 died Friday evening at 6 50 at the Methodist hospital after a long illness caused by complications. Funeral Monday at 3 from United Presbyterian Church with Rev Morris Watson officiating. Burial in Warnock cemetery. Survived by husband Col Gil R Stormont and three sons Don M Princeton Harry K Indianapolis Ralph M Indianapolis. She was a founder of the Gen John Gibson DAR chapter and a grand daughter of General Hand. She lived in Princeton fifty years and was active in church work. She was born Hillsboro Ohio August 22 1846 and married March 16 1870.
