Unknown Soldier Selected in Charleville for Arlington
In Charleville a coffin was chosen as the Unknown Soldier to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. Sergeant Younger placed roses on the chosen coffin after a simple ceremony in the city hall chapel, with French and American officers present. The coffin, draped in an American flag, was moved to a rotunda for public mourning and will travel by train to Paris and Havre for Legion of Honor ceremonies.

Little boy kills brothers in Indiana barnyard incident
In Warsaw Indiana on Monday 17 year old Harry Long killed his two younger brothers Kenneth five and Russell three with an iron pipe. Aged Man Struck and Killed by Southern Train
