Missing fingers and shifting stories surround hospital victim
Richard Kelly, a forager living on the Charles Kolb farm, was treated at Methodist hospital for a left hand injury. He reported riding an omatarcyele near the skating rink at the fairgrounds Friday evening when a bicycle accident allegedly severed three and four fingers, but he later gave conflicting accounts. Police and hospital staff could not verify the incident.
