Merce Mra M L Goldberg and family plan to leave Princeton for Indianapolis to establish a new home. Goldberg, long a leading junk fur and hides dealer, sold his business to Galsky Bohard and property to William Rafferty. He expects to pursue new ventures with a rolling will.
Nationwide hunt launched after discovery of a large batch of bombs addressed to prominent men. Authorities believe the devices were part of a May Day demonstration plan and suspect many more bombs are still in circulation in the mails.
May Day disorder in Cleveland leaves many injured and over 100 arrested. Among those seized is C E Russenberg, once a Socialist candidate for mayor, as authorities cite a chaotic day. Separate reports from New York detail a national mail bomb scare linked to a Reds oriented plot targeting prominent figures.

Strikebreaking operators are deported and eight returnees spark the dispute's easing.
In a steady downpour about 50 attendees joined an intense revival evening led by Mars. T. Morton McDonald and the choir offered strong music while a discussion on dying home going featured Bros. Padgett Smith Criswell Guthrie and others. Amos Legier and Claude A. Mrs. A Mahan of Philadelphia received word that her son Lawrence Mahan of Hospital No 115 Vichy France arrived in Philadelphia on April 80th and will be sent to Camp Dix. He served eight months overseas.
Business men at a Wednesday meeting formed committees to devise a method for an intensive chamber of commerce membership campaign. The panel will also determine dues under the reorganized chamber and report at a forthcoming meeting in the next few days.
Mr and Mrs George H Padgett were informed that their son George E Padgett has arrived in New York. He serves with the regulars and reports at Camp Merritt New Jersey. Padgett went to France with the first regulars after war was declared and served over nineteen months. He was among the earliest Gibson County boys to reach France with the Rainbow division.
This morning German delegates submitted credentials in a brief session. Articles of the treaty are being assembled and will be ready for Germany no later than Monday.
United Press reports the German Foreign Minister Brockdorff-Rantzau and Landsberg presented credentials to allied representatives Jules Cambon Henry White and Matsui at 3 pm. The brief ceremony lasted five minutes and the article notes 24 hours to examine documents while treaty articles are being compiled. Forty thousand words of the treaty have already been transmitted to Washington.
Gibson County reports 70 percent of its Victory Loan quota subscribed with $401 750 raised across eight townships. Columbia and Wabash expected to push past the $500 000 mark soon while Union Barton Patoka and Washington townships show strong pledges. County officials consider shifting basis from bank deposits to assessed valuation for remaining quotas.
