Mrs Herbert told Magistrate Sweetser that her husband Vieter Herbert's composing is disrupted by music from next door. She seeks a summons against Mrs Turner, a boarding house keeper, whose tenants include several young women who play the piano from morning till night.
The Princeton coal miners observe April 1 as a holiday marking the twenty second anniversary of the eight hour workday. The telegram to Walter White says wage increases apply April 1 and workers should stay at work pending final settlement. Officers named include Ed Robinson president and John Gayer VP with Phillip Murray and William Green among signatories.
United Press reports Joseph Kindle, 58, an Englishman, was found mortally wounded near the tin plate factory in Elwood Indiana, March 31. Police indicate robbery as motive. Kindle had about 250 dollars sewn in a pocket inside his coat. A bullet hole in his lead testified to the fatal shot.
Gibson County offers $600 in scholarships through the Y M C A for ex service men discharged from the armed forces. Eligible applicants must present an honorable discharge and a four year high school diploma to pursue courses at Indiana University Purdue University Oakland City College or similar certified schools. Washington March 31 The resolution to declare peace with Germany will be called up in the house Friday. Chairman Campbell of the rules committee and Chairman Porter of the foreign affairs committee said the formal draft has been agreed by Republican leaders and will be introduced today. A report from the foreign affairs committee is expected tomorrow with the rules committee report following.
In Elw. Cyypp, Oklahoma Mrs. E J Howart cut the throats of her five children aged four months to twelve years then killed herself. The three younger children were slain in sleep while the eldest boy was killed as he attempted to rise. Mrs Bowart is hospitalized in serious condition.
Jackson Miss March 31 Governor M L Russell expected to go before the lower house today urging passage of the resolution ratifying the woman federal suffrage amendment. The house recently defeated the measure but the governor believes it will be passed.
Prime Minister Lloyd George see passage of home rule bill on second reading by 284 to 94 amidst debate. During final talk it was announced six Clan-Na-Gael members had landed from America with plans to assassinate the Prime Minister.

Paris reports Premier Milleran rejected Germany’s request for France to state conditions for occupation by French troops in the Ruhr district. France previously considered accepting if Germany guaranteed withdrawal, a pledge now deemed unsatisfactory.
Chicago March 31 William Gibbs McAdoo was placed in the race for the presidency by a McAdoo boom launched by Illinois Democrats. District Attorney Michael Igole announced the roll in. The move suggests Palmer may announce his candidacy next.
Still fighting in Dublin as soldiers with machine guns and air support guard London Dury prison. Armed cars patrol the area after Sinn Fein leaders were reported in Dublin. Additional troops arrive to reinforce guards amid numerous clashes reported today.
In San Francisco on March 31 Herbert Hoover announced he would accept the Republican nomination. He said he did not seek the nomination but would not refuse if demanded, launching an active nationwide campaign.
Princeton miners investigate township and county officials over care for Elmer Miller found sick in a mine washhouse. He died days later at the county poor farm amid disputed duties, buck passing, and human welfare concerns.
The Daily Mail cites two disputes over the former German Emperor. He reportedly died after a heart failure or morphine overdose following days of poor treatment in a mine wash house and a barn. A miner’s committee reports their finding on the case.
Death of Robert C. Wright 30, son of Conductor Clyde Wright, was reported at Southern railway shops. He died after being struck by train wheels at Litfield Illinois while bragging. he had been a fireman in this city. Survived by parents a widow and one son. Locals regret the loss.
Miss Ynez Richardson of Purdue University will present a morning program on The Cheaper Cuts of Meat and How to Cook Them at 9 45. James Robinson speaks on The New Citizenship at 2 00, followed by a pudding sauce and salad demonstration by Miss Richardson at the Princeton Methodist Church dining room. Visitors are invited to attend and bring friends.

Senator Borah telegraphed General Wood demanding a public list of campaign subscribers and spending across states including Michigan South Dakota Ohio and Illinois to correct what he calls excessive expenditures. He warned the charges could disgrace Wood his party and the country and urged Wood to publish facts under his signature or refute the critics.
The Martha chapter degree team from this city joined multiple lodge members for a motor trip to Stewartsville for the district assembly tonight. Attending from this city were Mrs. Wilbur Strickland Miss Maude Strickland Miss Edna Clark and Mr and Mrs Elmer Tichenor.
