Professor E. J. Llewelyn, superintendent of Mt. Vernon Indiana schools, will address the Broadway Christian church Sunday afternoon on Two Standards of Conduct. The speaker, already a prior guest, is urged as a must hear for every man in Princeton.
The German war office announces today that losses in the recent fighting at Neuve Chapelle totaled about 6000 men. The tally references the start date of 26 and indicates official figures for the engagement.
London dispatches indicate Vice Admiral Carden may be dead or fatally wounded after the Dardanelles action. Allies report serious losses including Bouvet, Irresistible, and Ocean, with forts Kilid Bahr and Chanak damaged.
