The Senate adopted the conference report on the tax measure as a legislative section nears midnight. Lieutenant Governor Bush faced blame from the governor over the plan to centralize state government in the governor's hands. The section of legislature ends at midnight as officials wrap the session.
As Indianapolis lawmakers face adjournment, the senate approves the tax bill conference report and the house moves toward concurrence. Prohibition amendments to the federal constitution advance, while state constitutional reforms aim to admit Black citizens to militia and abolish justices of the peace.

United Press report notes a preliminary peace treaty may require Germany to hand over war crimes officials to an international tribunal. It is believed officials claim the Kaiser cannot be extradited and personal responsibility for crimes may be hard to determine. Suggested removal from Holland as a route is deemed unlikely with no international indictment published.
The tenth district Rebekah assembly holds its fourth session in Ft Grenell on March 12 with Vanderburg Rosey and Gibson counties, a large delegation expected. Afternoon program starts at 2 PM and Rose Butner of Winfield Taud leads the officers. Princeton and Mt Vernon degree teams perform in the evening.
A horse belonging to Charles Gilbert frightened Monday when a loosened shaft hanger dropped near its heels. Gilbert restrained the animal with help, preventing a runaway and possible injury to himself and two young women, Dale Coyne and Cleo Watt, who were riding in the vehicle. no serious damage occurred.
The church of God revival ended last night with a full house the largest attendance of the meeting. Good interest was shown and several hands were raised for prayer. Evangelist Mrs. N. C. Millspaugh and Mrs. J. Goebel of Terre Haute returned this morning after spelling a week in Princeton assisting Elder M. V. P. Rimmer in the services.

Mr and Mrs Valentine Remier celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at home on South Seminary Street with a six oclock dinner. The event featured flowers a decorative cake with sixty candles and greetings from relatives and friends. The couple born in Gettysburg PA and Wheeling WV were married in Jasper Indiana in 185 and later moved to Princeton then to Princeville where they ran the Et Shao hotel. They have three sons and five daughters including Joseph Ed Renner Fadward Frank and daughters Mrs Joseph Stenftenagel Mrs John Sheridan Mrs Jacob Witcher Mrs Elizabeth Hamilton and Miss Dora Renner.
The U S Supreme Court sustains Eugene V Debs conviction under the espionage act for a Canton speech last summer and upholds the act itself. Debs received a ten year sentence to Moundsville West Virginia jail.
Klafe Crow, a colored man, was arrested by Sheriff Flowers at Providence Kentucky and returned to the city on a bigamy charge filed by his first wife who lives in Henderson. Crow had come to work in a coal mine and recently married Louisa Lambert of Princeton. He was jailed after the first wife surfaced and charged him, claiming he never divorced. It is understood he thought his first wife was married to someone else.
The case grows from a partnership in the oil business in the northern part of the county. It was heard today as a change of venue from Knox county.
The year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs Louis Grubb living on Hart Street south of the city fell while playing Sunday afternoon and broke her right leg between the knee and hip. She is reported resting very well today.
W F Franklin of Danville Indiana will hold meetings in Gibson county on March 10 and 11 to explain the State Farmers Association and assist forming a county unit. Gatherings at France Owensville Haubstadt Ft Branch and Princeton will promote agricultural cooperation and improved rural living.
A draft horse owned by Charles Steele pulling a coal wagon fell into an abandoned cess pool at Oscar Haas's home on West State Street Saturday afternoon. The pool was covered over and the horse broke through the covering, but was rescued with no serious injuries after considerable effort.
Mrs Maggie Dewig aged 36 wife of Leo S Dewig of Haubstadt died at home Sunday night after a two month illness from throat trouble She is survived by her husband and father John Voelker Spencer County two sisters Mrs John Lutz Haubstadt Mrs Edward Warged Evansville and two brothers Joseph Edward Voelker Spencer County The funeral will be at St Joseph and St Peter churches Wednesday morning at 8 20 conducted by Rev Father Fares with interment in church cemetery
