Washington March 4 The house votes overwhelmingly to discontinue enforcement of the Walstead law enforcing prohibition. Representative Eagan of New York moved to discontinue enforcement and appeal the law when applicable July 1.

Miss Hazel Bhun wed Mr. Fred Birkley in a Wednesday ceremony at 4 p.m. at the United Presbyterian parsonage on North Prince Street. Rev. Morris Wittson led the ring ceremony as fifteen guests attended. The couple will reside on the Blum farm south of the city.
