Chautauqua Comes 10 Close in Princeton Night
The Princeton Chautauqua closed with Miss Alice Neilson and company delivering a premier season finale. The audience overflowed the tent as Neilson's superb voice evoked encores while violinist Havlicek and pianist Redick shared honors. The Schubert club decor and Benway's dignified presence framed a memorable closing evening with plans for next year’s Redpath Co. and program highlights including Fletcher’s Martyrdom Of Fools.

Escapes Death In Coast Down Hill Crossing
Lawrence Mayhugh 12 narrowly escaped death when coasting down Pinckney street onto a northbound traction car at the crossing. The car slowed for the railroad crossing and struck him on the head, throwing him from the track. a physician found only a small scalp contusion and he recovered quickly.
