The Princeton Advertising Club will host a meeting at the New Princeton Hotel and discuss an Atlanta meeting, with plans to attend next year in Milwaukee. About 100 members may travel to Mr John P Fed’s farm near Mt Olympus Wednesday evening, cars provided, meet at 5:15 on the east side of the square, to travel together. A community supper will follow, and Princeton members will contribute $1 to defray costs.

Chicago June 21 advocates of the closed shop won a victory when the United States railroad board ruled that representatives of the majority of workers in a craft may draft working agreements. Since most railroad workers are unionists the decision is seen as a victory for unions. The ruling came in reply to a query from Missouri and Kansas railroad employees and Northwestern Steamship clerks. Workers nationwide are drafting new agreements in line with the board order.

Large Barn Burned at Wpcarty Farm in Tuesday Fire
A large barn on the WPCarty farm owned by Arthur McCarty burned at 2 30 Tuesday morning. The roof collapsed and about 800 bushels of corn and five tons of hay were destroyed along with farming implements and four calves. City Council Sets Sidewalk Contract Bid Details
The city council in regular session approved a general sidewalk construction contract with John Berry at 1.485 per square yard plus 50 cents for exceptional excavation or filling.
