Severe storm damages Carmel area in Wabash county

A late night storm swept northern Wabash county causing extensive damage near Allehdale and Carmel. Mrs. Isaac Reed, 50, was killed as timbers fell onto their home, with her husband and son Bena badly injured and possibly fatally. Barns and outbuildings were blown down, eight horses died at Friendsville, and widespread electrical disturbances were reported with no other injuries confirmed.
