City Manager Discussion Draws Crowd at City Building

Rosa Morris and Roger Watt appeared with Charlotte Roberts after a street incident near West State Street. Rosa pled guilty to assault and battery and received a one dollar fine with costs totaling 12.15, the fine stayed. Roger and Rosa also pled guilty to adultery with fines of three dollars and costs totaling 17.15. Roger spent the night in jail until his fine was stayed, Rosa’s fine later suspended during good behavior.

Last of the Ft Branch cases arraigned on delinquency charge
Doris Yeager of Ft Branch was arraigned before Judge Baltzell on a charge of contributing to delinquency of a girl under 16 in the Velma White case. Plea of guilty brought a fine of 190 dollars and costs. Prosecutor Robinson notes Yeager is the last Ft Branch youth to be arraigned on this charge as others paid fines earlier in the week.
