Mob violence costs one life at Graham jail
A mob of about 200 masked men stormed the Graham county jail in North Carolina early today to seize three Black suspects accused of assaulting Mrs A A Riddle. Gunfire from guards with machine guns killed one mob man and wounded two others as the crowd tried three times to rush the jail. The assault on Mrs Riddle occurred last Saturday.
