Child Injured Falling From Moving Train Near Francisco
Cleon Harbinson, 13, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Harbinson, is hospitalized in critical condition with a skull fracture after stepping from a moving Southern plug near the Francisco station. He rushed to see his mother waiting at the station, despite conductor warnings. The accident occurred just east of the Francisco stock loading pens as the train neared its destination. The conductor and crew rendered aid and kept the train at Francisco until the boy could be transported to Methodist hospital.
