Brakeman Severely Injured While Climbing Beside Train
Arnold Clarke, 23, a C. and E. J. brakeman, was seriously hurt at Ft. Branch on Thursday after being side swiped while climbing on the side of a car by a passing train. He suffered head and chin injuries. Clarke is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Clarke, former residents of this city, now in Evansville, and nephew of Jeff Turpin at the coal mine.
