The eleven alleged L W W’s charged in the Armistice Day shooting at Centralia Washington faced trial opening before Superior Judge John W Wilson in Montenor Gray’s Harbor. The Thursday Club met with Miss 72 for an evening of sewing quilt blocks for the hostess and a bake sale of aprons made by members. Music was provided by Mrs. Louis McRoberts and Edna McRoberts on the Victrola. A social hour followed with refreshments. The next meeting is set for Mrs. Clarence Moore's home on February 6.

Newberry and his entourage arrive expected Monday night as defense lawyers prepare to object to juror summons and Judge Sessions begins screening jurors for fitness and availability.
Deputy Revenue Collector Earl M Miller will be in Princeton from January 28 to February 14 at the County Agent's office in the courthouse to assist income tax payers. Last year's taxpayers will receive mailed forms with a serial number and must bring the form when filing.
Taubitha Linzy died Saturday night in Haubstadt Indiana at age seventy one from pneumonia. A short service will be held at the home at 9:30 AM Tuesday followed by services at Liberty Church at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Wilkinson Church Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter Mrs T C Blythe of Douglas Arizona.
A Saturday evening ceremony united Mrs. Aimee Kurtz and Arthur Book in marriage at the Methodist parsonage on Sweet Emerson street. The ring ceremony was performed by Rev. C. E. Flynn. Attendants included Mr. and Mrs. Fred Parrett and Mrs. Legler of Evansville. The couple will reside on West State Street after a brief Chicago honeymoon.
