Lawrence Benedict a coal mine driver and Charlie Hutchinson were badly hurt when a mule driven cart ran away. Benedict suffered facial lacerations and a scalp wound. Hutchinson had both arms severely wrenched. Hutchinson lives at 1122 South Prince Street and Benedict at 827 Boyle Street. Sun parish attendees from Evansville attended a Grand Theater show.

Schooner Jean II Reported with Dead Captain and Unmanned Vessel

Two Juveniles Admit In Hog Theft Ring
Henry Lockett and Sim mons, about fourteen, confessed to Sheriff J D Flowers to stealing eleven hogs from farms near Princeton and Patoka. Authorities traced the hogs from Wheeler and Stormont farms and the Releval place. Three hogs were butchered, three still at large, and three sold to Herley Fisher for 139 dollars. The boys are in the county jail awaiting arraignment.

In Vincennes two men, George Morris and Chris Ehart, were arrested after officials found the most complete whiskey stills in operation.
