Mines and storms sink neutral ships near Great Britain
In the last 24 hours three neutral vessels were sunk or sunk by mines near Britain. A Dutch trawler was blown up with three crew dead. The Norwegian steamer Herden sank north of Bergen with one death. Wreckage from the Heiden and a body with a life belt were found at Mullion in Wales.

Death of James Anderson 84 in Vincennes area
Word has been received of the death of James Anderson age 84 Monday night at the home of his son John W. Anderson six miles north of Vincennes Illinois. Surviving are two sons John W and one daughter Elizabeth in California two brothers Phillip Princeton and John Oakland City and a sister Mrs. Ross Terre Haute. The funeral was held at 12 o'clock Wednesday morning from Gardner Chapel conducted by Rev Mr Forward United Brethren Church. Interment followed in the city cemetery.
