Death of Joseph M. Skelton in Princeton
Joseph Miles Skelton aged 79, a Warrick County native who moved to Princeton in 1893, died Thursday at 7:25 am in a local Methodist home. He married Mary Ellen Barr in 1868 and left six children, three sons who died early, and several grandchildren. He served in the Civil War with Company G, 1st Regiment, and was a Broadway Christian Church member. Burial in Odd Fellows cemetery follows funeral at Broadway Christian Church.
