Four Suspects Held in $15,000 Bank Robbery
Centralia Illinois December 24 four men suspected of complicity in a 15000 dollar robbery of Julia State Bank Tuesday were being held at Salem near here. The cashier and Miss Mildred Kelly who pursued the robbers in her automobile were expected to identify the men. Police stretch a drag net over three counties for other suspects.

Miner Burned by Explosion Near Francisco
Marl Hinkle a Francisco miner was burned last night when a 100 pound carbide can exploded in the boiler room of the mine near Francisco. He received facial and head injuries but is not believed to be seriously hurt. Water entered the can forming gas and when opened caused a blinding blast as he stooped over it with a cap light. A physician attended him.
