An automobile belonging to Nolan Beusinger a Studebaker was destroyed by fire near Princeton on the Mt Carmel road Wednesday night. The cause was unknown the car suddenly burst into flames which could not be extinguished. The car was insured.

Hundreds of thousands cheered British army chiefs upon arrival in London to visit King George. Field Marshal Haig led Generals Rawlinson Plummer Birdwood Brng Horne through cheering crowds as American soldiers joined the demonstration. Mrs. T Br Wilcox learns of the death of her brother Frank Teprington of Indianapolis. Burial will be in Wabash Indiana. Survived by his wife and many other relatives.
President Wilson and Premier Clemenceau opened a key conference at the Murat Palace in Paris to align details of the peace pact with France. King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy and his retinue arrived in Paris and will meet with Clemenceau as Wilson plans to return Marshal Foch's call after talks.
William B. Colver of the Federal Trade Commission told the House Interstate Commerce Committee that the government will not run the packing plants. He urged licensing and restrictions to curb control of equipment and market news by big packers, and said railroads should offer open yards and cars like other freight facilities.

The circuit court granted a divorce in the Harry Furman versus Mattie Furman case heard this morning. This afternoon William Catt versus Mamie Catt for divorce was in progress, with the Pike county venue change noted.
The station reported that John W. Kurtz remained in the same condition after a second stroke on Wednesday. Doctors said his death was believed to be imminent, with only a matter of hours remaining.
