Funeral at 2:30 Friday at his residence with Rev. E G Hildner, followed by interment in the I O O F cemetery.
Fay Brahm Weber wife of Adam Weber dies. funeral held at St Bernard’s Catholic Church at nine Saturday morning with Rev Father E J Bauer officiating. Burial in church cemetery. She leaves husband a mother six sisters and three brothers. Community expresses sympathy.

Miranda Scull's funeral was set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at her daughter Ida Crawley’s home with interment in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
Miss Bertha McCullough of Philadelphia and Mr. E Downey Kerr formerly of this city will wed at the bride’s uncle W H Dyer’s Evansville home tonight. The ceremony was postponed earlier due to Mr Kerr’s illness.
John W. Kurtz, who suffered a stroke of paralysis last Tuesday, was very low this afternoon. After several days of some improvement, he this morning suffered a relapse.
The War Mothers gathering scheduled for Friday afternoon has been postponed. No new date is announced.
Privates John Stott Charles Sides Oliver Ziliak and Sam Williams stationed at Camp Taylor have been mustered out and returned.
Charles A. West is officially reported killed in action. The casualty appears in today’s listings as a Hazleton area defender. Community officials confirm the name and status, honoring his service and sacrifice.
The day’s list includes 7080 names the largest published on a single day with more than 100 Indiana men from 82 cities. Charles A West of Hazelton is named as killed in action and the parents and siblings are noted in the notice. By week’s end the last of those killed in action should be dispatched though other casualties will take longer to publish.
Flood danger is now great no more as reports show White and Wabash rivers steady. The Wabash at Mt. Carmel recorded 18.5 feet, three and a half feet above flood stage, submerging low bottom lands but sparing cultivated fields. Clear weather should drive river levels down rapidly in coming days.

Soldiers stream into Berlin at about 10,000 daily as garrison fears Bolseviki protests. Crowds fill boulevards and speeches draw large attendance while Kaiser signs fade from signs. Unemployed grow as munition plants close including Krupp, with about a quarter million discharged.
Paris reports the Italian royal party will arrive tomorrow to press Italy's Adriatic supremacy and conflicting claims with Jugoslavia. Premier Orlando and Foreign Minister Sonnino will seek adjustments with President Wilson, the American delegation, and the French minister. Italy also seeks annexation desires, Mediterranean and North African interests, and a division of enemy indemnities among allies.
