Jasper Carlisle 43, proof reader for Bookwalter Ball Printing, died by hanging in his home at 1549 Bellefontaine street. He had been ill and despondent, left a note referencing No 1 Type and the Typographical Union. He is survived by widow and infant daughter, with funeral arrangements pending.

Death of Ephriam Malone at 67 in Vincennes
Elza Malone was called to Vincennes Tuesday night by the death of his father Ephriam Malone age 67. Cause given as heart disease with death occurring Tuesday afternoon. Former resident of the city, survived by widow and five children. He was riding a bicycle from work to home when he became ill and died suddenly.

Walter Woodring, 20, was released after four days held as a suspect in the Kitchen murder case.
