The Stephens Drygoods Store hosts a corn and corn products show on the second floor annex this Saturday December 8 with $55 in cash prizes for Gibson County residents showing best corn and corn products. Butcher Jacob Shuel Wounded In Accidental Shooting
Jacob Shuel well known butcher of Hart street was accidentally shot Sunday afternoon on Sutton farm. He carried a 22 calibre revolver which discharged when the hammer caught his pocket causing a hip wound. The ball is missing and he is under a physician’s care at home suffering from blood loss and shock.
