In Wall township New Jersey two 16 year old boys Charles Spindler and William Hubbard were tied to a tree and burned to death in an amateur “Indian” game. Richard Foreman 16 and Caleb Hubbard 18 tied them and lighted a fire. a passerby freed the victims but both died at the hospital.

No other injuries reported and all victims treated locally before going home. Three persons were crushed to death when a touring car toppled at Point Place Toledo Sunday morning. An 18 month old child, Stella Novak, was killed after wandering into a backing car late last night.
