Governor James M. Cox and state leaders will be guests of honor at a noon luncheon at the Hotel Kidd. Attending are Dr. Carleton B. McCulloch Miss Charline Williams of Tennessee Miss Julia Landers of Indianapolis and several local officials and spouses.

Coroner oe Kin man returned a death by accident verdict for Cecil Sharpe and Virgil Black two young miners found dead on the Southern railroad track near Muren on Sunday night August 8. The coroner said evidence did not determine murder.

A supplemental contract raising inside day wages by 25 percent and monthly and outside day wages by 1.50 per day was signed by the Indiana coal operators and miners as of August 16 1920. Margaret Watson, 70, died at her daughter Mrs Willard McCleary’s home south of Oakland City Saturday morning after a long heart trouble. The funeral was at the McCleary home Sunday morning conducted by Elder J R Arnold. Burial followed in Mitchell Indiana, her former home. Frank Busch of the Princeton Daily Democrat will go to Mount Carmel this afternoon on business.
