Bride of three days killed by train near Ft Branch
In Ind at the coal mine crossing south of town a 60 year old bride named Mrs Chester formerly Harper was struck by a northbound C and E L train and killed instantly. Slightly deaf she walked onto the track returning from Ft Branch as bystanders tried to warn her. The body was mutilated and the funeral will be held in Augusta Pike county where she had lived. Survived by several children, the death marks the third fatal accident at the site in a few months.
