Two Buicks Collide With Slight Damage
A Buick belonging to A. J. Strain east of town and a Buick towing car owned by W. J. Thompson of the city were lightly damaged in a 630 PM Friday collision at the Maple Hill cemetery and Francisco roads junction. No injuries. Miss Florence Strain drove the Strain car east, a small boy drove Thompson’s car. The cars swerved to avoid impact and sustained bent fenders running boards and steering rods. Doctors expect a recovery after surgery at a New York hospital on August 15 marking a rare long paralysis ending in improvement.
