Pike County Court House Receives New Building
Petersburg Indiana August 11 the Pike county commissioners received the new Pike county court house from contractor J N Good of Columbus Ind. The building is not yet complete and finishing contracts were let. When complete the courthouse will cost about 275000 and be ready for occupancy by September 1 1922 with efforts to hold the September term of the Pike circuit court in the new building. Two murder trials and the trial of Other Dorsey for the murders of Luther Bement and Joan Turner have been set for September.
