National Guard units clash during mine area skirmish

Colored Band Visits Princeton on Summer Tour
A band of colored orphan children from Huntsville Alabama visited Princeton and performed on the square Monday afternoon. Traveling by truck, they tour from Flints ville to Chicago stopping at towns and cities for donations. The group is led by instructor Prof Blunt who said the tour is annual and the children aged 10 to 14 played a good brand of music.
