A shopper notes wide sales from palm leaf fans and candy to wool blankets fleece lined underwear and fur trimmed coats. A woman planned a trip while her daughter left for school and they took no chances on the weather.
The Daily lists the general arrangements committee with Sanford Trippet as men's chair and Mrs. John H Hitch as women's chair. It details speakers grounds finance parade music automobile signs and slogans barbecue trucks and float committee decorations advertising publicity and related subcommittees with named members and meeting plans for Monday night at 7 30 in the large courtroom.

Captain R. A. Morris of the local Salvation Army will deliver his farewell sermon in Princeton Sunday night before leaving for Evansville to assist in Army work there. Ensign and Mrs. Stewart will take his Princeton post, coming here after evangelical work. Morris arrived February 15, 1919, and departs amid a state department shake-up with $800 still available for the new citadel.
