Cloverleaf Train Goes Into Ditch
Cloverleaf passenger train No. 5 derailed one mile east of Frankfort after the engine hit a spread switch. The engine tender and two express cars piled up but all passenger coaches stayed on track. Express car wrecks in C. E. I. yards with melons crushed
An express car loaded with cantaloupes, shipped by Charles G. Taylor to eastern points, overturned on a siding at the C. and E. I. yards late Monday afternoon. A wrecking crane from Evansville was sent to the scene. The accident did not block the main line. Many cantaloupe baskets were crushed.
