John Blume Dead After Lingering Illness
General regret followed the death of John Blume who died Sunday morning after a long illness. He was a well known Omineca prospector in the district and had six years there. Bob McDonald aided him during a seizure at Groundhog and helped bring him to Hazelton despite great difficulties. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Peter's Church with interment in Hazelton cemetery.
