Two Lives Lost in Santa Monica Grand Prix
In Santa Monica on February 28 two drivers died during the Grand Prix. Paul Frederick Seigel was killed when his car struck the curb on Los Angeles Street. J. B. Marquis, leading at eighty miles per hour, lost control at a turn, the car overturned and crushed him. the machine suffered only minor damage.
