Death of Billy Kirk Confirmed in Captain Groves House
A letter to Officer Adams from Kirk's mother confirms the death of Billy Kirk who went from the town to the front. He was injured in the spine August 4 and died shortly after in a hospital. He had been residing in Captain Groves house on Fourth Avenue.
