British Cruisers Sunk in North Sea by Submarines
London August 21 The British cruisers Nottingham and Falmouth were sunk in the North Sea while searching for the German fleet. Most of the crews were saved, 38 men missing and one sailor died. One German submarine was destroyed and another rammed and probably sunk. The enemy ships avoided engagement and returned to port.

Victims of Poisoning Laid to Rest at Port Clements
