The Bumblebee Cure in a Southern Ohio Village
In a 19th century Ohio village, two boys Dolph and Dicky chase bumblebees all summer. They hatch a plan using a jug and oil to burn beetles and bees, stumble upon a whisky jug, and inadvertently cause Col Corcoran to drink from it. Dr Dinwiddie saves him with a bee cure, and the tale ends with the colonel later rising to high judicial office safely.
