Soldier In New Guinea Buys Bond From Franklin County
The first War Loan bond purchased in Franklin County opened Thursday morning. Mrs. Oscar Wilde bought a hundred dollar bond for her son Cpl. Cloyd Wilde from Mrs. M. M. Reeves at First Security Bank in Preston. Wilde, a corporal in the tank destroyer division, left home April 25 1941 and has been overseas since March 1942.
