Franklin County Commissioners meet in regular session on September 11 1944 with Chairman Frank Shrives and Commissioners Harley Greaves and Wallace Olsen present. They discuss use of county and irrigation equipment, tax deed property withdrawal options, drain construction in Linkrose and a $88 contribution to Abel Stevenson, and approve numerous bills and payrolls. The minutes note later sessions on September 19 and 25 including costs for Mexican labor and 1944 Fair expenses and a probation officer trip to Los Angeles.
