Word reaches here that Joseph B. Condie formerly of Mound Valley is in very serious condition at his son Fern’s Preston home. All family members have been summoned to his bedside as a Mother's Day program and community activities are noted in the surrounding area with visits from relatives and local clubs.
Legal notices announce the Fairview School Board of Trustees Franklin County School District No 8 will accept sealed proposals until 2 00 P M May 25 1946 for salvaging materials from a condemned building and for the construction of a new facility.
